Alternative Rock Bands
WELCOME to 90srockers.com. If you are like me you love music, and it is either good or it sucks. In my opinion the 90’s is when music hit it’s stride and had more good music come out than at any other time. You had such pioneering bands as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden who really mainstreamed the grunge sound, to Nine Inch Nails, and Smashing Pumpkins, who really helped broaden the alternative rock sound.
Here at 90srockers.com you will find my opinion of the greatest bands to come out of the 90’s to bands that seemed to reinvent themselvesin the 90’s, think Aerosmith, or Metallica. This site is a work of love, and a work in progress. So if you love 90’s rock, and why else would you be here, lol, come and look around, and find that band you forgot about, or that lost C.D. that you didn’t know they made to make you collection complete.
Think we missed someone then drop me a line, or if you think the site sucks drop me a line for that too, but please be specific about what sucks if you would like to see changes and improvements.

It would be impossible to describe the music scene of the 1990’s without mentioning the alternative rock music scene which dominated from the early part of the decade toward its middle part. Furthermore, the rise of grunge music that time defines an important part of what has been the alternative rock phenomenon in that decade. Grunge music is sometimes referred to as “Seattle Sound” because a lot of the bands then were from Seattle.
